Well, rugby season has officially come to a close here at BYU. Its depressing actually. When I think of the seniors who will no longer play for the good ol' Cougars it honestly makes me want to cry. On a happier note, we played University of Utah on Friday night and crushed them 66 to 20. It was glorious! Loved every minute of it, except when this stupid Ute fan tried to push me down the bleachers. I nearly killed him.
Friday was also Megan's (Kevins only niece) birthday. We celebrated it on Saturday because Johnny was in New Zealand. He came back wearing an All Blacks Jersey, for those that don't know its New Zealand's Rugby team and they are amazing. So we put up the bounce house, had dinner, opened presents and played the wii. To watch Johnny and Kev play is one of the funniest things ever. They are both so competitive.
After Megan's party we went over to the Rugby game, we played Utah State and I decided for the last game I would actually sit in the stands and enjoy it. We played rather well and used most of our second and third string teams. With the final score being 111-3 the ref called the game because Utah State was done being crushed. We also found out during the game that Josh and Amy went fourwheeling and didn't call us to go, when normally that wouldn't bug me but Josh insisted for a half hour on Friday that Kevin and I go with him. Then he and Amy just up and go without us. We both texted them earlier that morning to see what the plan was and neither of them responded. So when they called to hang out later I said I wasn't interested.
Then we went to meet Patrick and his wife Shena at the mall, while we were waiting for them Kevin and I bought the Nsync C.D.'s and jammed out in his jeep. Then we got cold stone and the movie Bolt. We were all planning on watching it but Shena and I just got to talking and we sat there and laughed all night while Kevin and Patrick played xbox. We put the baby to bed and Shena showed me her scrapbooks and we just laughed and laughed. I can't remember having that much fun. They are the 1st couple that share mine and Kevins opinions on alcohol and drugs and we both get along with. Kevin has never gotten along with Randi and I usually don't get along with her boyfriends, so to have someone we both like is a very welcome change. Shena is absolutely hilarious and almost a mirror image of me. They have the cutest little baby named Roxanna and I don't think I have ever seen a cuter smile.
Today we actually watched Bolt since we were too busy yesterday and it was hilarious. I loved it. Then Josh and Amy came over and Josh and Kev played xbox. I'm not at all happy with Josh or Amy at the moment so it was definately awkward. I didn't say anything to Amy and hardly anything to Josh and only because he asked me direct questions.
They I guess are getting married. They have been dating for 2 weeks on Wednesday and are already unofficially engaged. He's asking her dad's permission and then on their month anniversary he is going to propose. I think it is beyond ridiculous. I actually showed Josh the ring I wanted Kevin to get me, and wouldn't you know he's buying the same one for Amy. I was livid when I found out. I think Kevin is giving him a heads up at work tomorrow about how angry I am. I think it best for Josh to just leave me alone for a few days.
Well I'm exhausted. I'm away to bed.
