17 days! Or something like that.

Well, we're getting married in something like 17 days. Where in the hell did this year go?! I can't believe we have been engaged for over a year. It honestly flew, but so much has changed since we first got engaged that I guess it makes sense.

Well, since I blogged last a LOT of things have changed. Chandler and I went to 311 Day which was without a doubt the funnest weekend of my life. We really did have the greatest time! We went with our best friend Grayson and listened to 311 all weekend long. It was our definiton of paradise. So for those of you that have never been to 311 Day (or heard of it) its March 11 (hence 3/11) and its where 311 plays the longest set lists of the year. Usually there is only one night and they do 2 or 3 set lists but this time there was 2 nights and 2 setlists per night. It is any 311 fans dream weekend. The fact that it was in Vegas just made it that much more awesome. I mean there are just not words to describe how awesome that weekend was. The second set list that they played on the second night was the best setlist I have ever seen. Its like I called the band, told them what I wanted to hear and thats what they played. Some of the songs mean so much to me that I cried. Yeah, I cried at a concert and no I'm not embarrassed. It was truly one of the best weekends ever. I met Nick Hexum's wife and she was the nicest lady ever. Truly has a beautiful soul. I was touched by how much she was willing to do for 311's fans and she let me take a picture with her. She is beyond gorgeous!

I got the most awesome merch while I was down there but my keychain started to chip so I couldn't keep it on my key ring because I was too worried about it!
Beyond the Grey Sky, one of my favorite 311 songs

This, ladies and gents is the fantastic 311 Nation!!!

Drum solo during Applied Science, one of my friends took this picture. I wasn't that close haha

Also, in other news that was slightly more important than 311 Day, CHANDLER GRADUATED!
Yeah, thats right. My babe is a graduate of the University of Utah. I really couldn't be more proud of him. I'm so happy that he's done. Well, he might get a masters but for now, he's done! I can't tell you how excited we are that we don't have to pay tuition. It is so expensive!

We are really just so excited about getting that out of the way. So many people said that we waited too long to get married but I am so happy that we waited until he was done. It's just what we needed to do.

In other news my awesome dad is a National Champion again! BYU won their second National Title and my dad is the greatest. He was so happy. I was so happy, I think pretty much everyone thats involved was happy.

My dad has coached rugby my whole life so it was an awesome accomplishment. We lost some good players so that was sad but they sure did go out with a bang! It was a great way to end the season and start the summer. As much as I don't like BYU I love rugby. My little brother recently started to play for United and he loves it. I love going to his games. Its a blast. The game wasn't even as close as the score said but BYU fell asleep the last 5 minutes and let them score and if that wasn't frustrating I don't know what was. They won tho and thats what was important.

Things have been pretty crazy the last few months with everything thats been going on. Its been a good year though. I'm excited for whats to come. Sorry, I know there aren't a lot of wedding details on here but I'm too scatterbrained to remember everything. I'll post tons of pictures from our wedding and engagements when I get around to it. Our friend Nikki did our engagements and she was so amazing! I LOVE them! I mean really, I just look at them sometimes because they are so cute!

Shopping Ban.

Okay, so a guy at work yesterday asked me if I have any clothes that aren't boy clothes. At first I wanted to kick him in the shins and run away, but he's really a funny guy and thats just the relationship we have so I wasn't too offeneded after I thought about it. Plus, he's right. I got up today hell bent on wearing something that wasn't a University of Utah t-shirt,  Jazz t-shirt/ jersey or a Red Sox t-shirt. My goal was to wear something  a girl would actually wear, unfortunately my closet consists of absolutely NOTHING but v-necks, University of Utah apparell, Jazz apparell, Red Sox apparell and hoodies. Yep thats it, and the v-necks that I do have are black, grey, or white. That means that I have nothing of color other than Red for Utah and the Red Sox, and purple, or green for the jazz. THAT'S IT! How sad is that. I'm 21 years old and I need to go on "What not to Wear" I'm seriously so embarrassed that I can't dress myself its just shocking. Everything that isn't sports is so blah I can't believe it, and I can't wear sports stuff every single day of my life. Here is where my shopping ban comes into play, for the entire month of Februrary I am not allowed to purchase 1 single freaking item that is sports related. No shirts, no hoodies, no hats, no tops, no jerseys, no keychains, no stickers, no accessories, no posters, no flags. NO NOTHING! Its time for a complete overhaul of my closet. I am going to have bright colors dammit!

I also decided to do Weight Watchers because I am so unhappy with how I look and feel I don't even feel like getting ready some days (hence the "boy clothes" but jerseys cover chubby tummies quite nicely) I'm really hoping to put alot of work into it and finally feel good about myself. I just hate being a chub. It's embarrassing. I want to look so good for my wedding and our honeymoon. Yeah call me petty but I do. I just need to stick with the ban and the Weight Watchers.
